La revista Time ha publicado su lista anual Time 100 en una edición especial disponible en siete portadas distintas, cada una de uno de los miembros de la prestigiosa lista.

Entre los siete protagonistas de las portadas se encuentran el rapero y productor musical Jay-Z, la oscarizada actriz Jennifer Lawrence y otros personajes como el magnate Elon Musk, el senador Rand Paul, la activista adolescente Malala Yousafzai, Li Na y Aamir Khan.

En la edición de este año también aparece el presidente Barack Obama --por octava vez en la lista-- y su mujer Michelle, además de otras figuras públicas como Justin Timberlake, Kate Middleton, el oscarizado Daniel Day-Lewis, el presentador Jimmy Fallon y las cantantes Christina Aguilera y Beyoncé.

Celine Dion, fue la encargada de escribir el perfil de Aguilera, en el que la describe así: ''La primera vez que escuché a Christina Aguilera cantar, me quedé impresionada. Me encanta la forma en que canta. Su tono de voz es hermoso,  tiene mucho poder y un poco de sensibilidad. Técnicamente, creo, ella es perfecta".

Dion, que fue testigo cuando Aguilera irrumpió en la escena durante el cambio de milenio, aseguró también que "los años han demostrado que (Xtina) puede cantar cualquier cosa y hacer que suene increíble: pop, soul, R&B e incluso country".

The first time I heard Christina Aguilera sing, I was totally blown away. I love the way she sings. Her tone is beautiful, and her voice has got so much power, yet so much sensitivity — and technically, I think, she’s flawless.

I remember she broke onto the scene at the turn of the millennium, just about the time my husband and I were going to take a hiatus to have our first child, so I got to watch a lot of her TV appearances, especially on the award shows. I remember thinking, This girl’s got it all and then some! Unbelievable voice, great dancer and so very beautiful. At that time, I didn’t realize how versatile she was, but over the years she has proved that she can sing anything and make it sound incredible: pop, soul, R&B and even country.

Without a doubt, she’s one of the most talented artists the world has ever seen and heard, and I think she’s going to continue to amaze us for many, many years to come.
